Description

Equality and diversity is an on-line course that can be taken in your own time and at your own pace. It is designed to help you reflect on equality and diversity issues as they affect you in your role at the University. The course, which should take you about an hour to complete, explains the University's expectations of its staff in this important area and is strongly recommended.

You may be happy to take the course by yourself. But you are free to work through it in discussion with a colleague or in a small group if that is how you prefer to work.

You do not need to book with the Learning Institute to take this course. Click here to register and login.

For your first visit you will have to register. This is an easy, automatic process, and once you have entered your details you will receive an email confirming your registration. The default username will be your email address and the password will be 'password'. The first time you log on, the system will ask you to change your password; alternatively select 'Password' from the menu bar and change your password to something more memorable and secure.
Departments and other university institutions may arrange for the course to be delivered in a blended format, with one or two seminars supplementing the on-line work. To explore this option, please e-mail Judith Secker.
