Face to face 1 day

  • managing a team or group and looking to refresh my management skills (Likely to be at G5 and above)

Developing management skills at Oxford (DMSO)

Face to face 3 days

I am:

  • a manager with at least a year’s experience of managing a team or group (likely to be at G6 and above)

Developing leadership and management practice (DLMP)

Face to face 6 days

I am:

  • in my first leadership role, with no previous leadership development (likely to be at G8 and above) 
  • an experienced leader looking to refresh my skills 
  • in a role with significant reach and responsibility but no line management

Research group leadership: leading a productive research group

  • A new PI, about to lead a research group 
  • A PI with some experience of leading a group, and wanting to refresh my leadership skills

Academic leadership development programme

Face to face 4 days

I am:

  • Likely to be an Associate Professor, or a Senior Research Fellow or holding a senior academic role in a college 
  • Interested in taking on an academic leadership role

Heads of Department/Faculty Board Chairs)

Face to face 8 short (2 hour) sessions

I am a new or incoming:

  • Head of an academic department or faculty 
  • Head of an administrative department 
  • Head of House 
  • Head of a sub-unit/large research institute 
  • Deputy head of an academic department or faculty in a role with significant reach and responsibility but no line management
