Lecturers/teaching staff
The Oxford Learning Institute offers programmes, short seminars and resources tailored to support teaching staff at Oxford. You may choose one of three main teaching development programmes, depending upon your level of experience. Programmes will support your learning over a term or longer, yet are flexible enough to fit in with your other commitments. Each programme has an assessment scheme that leads to recognition with the Higher Education Academy.
If you don't want to do a full programme, you can choose one of our scheduled short workshops or seminars on a topic of interest. If you can organise a group of 6 or more people interested in the same topic, we will run a workshop for your group, scheduled at your convenience.
We also offer web resources on a variety of topics, often with background information about Oxford's learning context, recommendations, stimulating ideas about learning and teaching, advice on dealing with teaching problems, materials to use with your students, ideas for classroom exercises and so forth.
