Description

This two hour session over lunch will enable individuals to meet others from across the University in a structured yet informal way and will consider the benefits of building a network and community at work. Participants are invited to work encouragingly and supportively together so that everyone can contribute and get the most from attending. This session is also part of the Managing yourself programme.

Intended for support staff and any staff interested in building a community at work through networking  

Learning objectives/outcomes
This workshop will enable participants to:

  • Discover what a community at work will look like for them
  • Understand the benefits of creating a network and community within the workplace
  • Learn practical tips and techniques on how to network in a way that suits them
