Learning Institute resources

This section presents various resources provided by the Learning Institute for general use. Resources specifically for particular staff groups are available in 'Programmes and resources'.

'Gender equality' contains information for heads of academic departments, leaders and managers. The resources on gender for tutors, previously published in this section, have been moved and can now be found on the 'Education Committee' website.

Illuminatio is the Institute's occasional newsletter. It discusses issues of professional learning, academic development, leadership and teaching relevant to Oxford, aiming to help colleagues see how research on these subjects can be used to inform reflections on professional practice.

Oxford's CETL (Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning) promoted and embedded in the University's divisions a wide range of provision for helping aspiring academics think about and develop their careers. The work was underpinned by research in a number of British universities and by four international conferences held in Oxford, and an overview of that work is included here in the CETL section. Within the section, the 'Apprise' site is a resource for doctoral research students and for staff who provide for their career development.

Learning Institute staff publish mainly in the field of higher education practice. A list of publications is maintained on this site in the section 'About us'.
